Electric garage door - got the keys?

Just been to a job where the customer had dropped their house keys in their car. The garage had an electric door which they had closed by pressing a button before walking out of the garage. They did not have a remote control to open the garage door from the outside as this was kept inside the and only taken out when they went out. Garage door not opening.

Locksmiths are called on to work on all sorts of different doors. Had a job this week where a garage door wouldn't open. The key would turn in the lock but didn't unlock the handle to allow the door to be opened. Part of the mechanism inside the handle had snapped which was why it was not working. After I had fitted a replacement handle I checked the locking mechanise was working with the door open then went to close the door.
