After talking about windows last time something must be in the air as we spent all of this morning changing the hinges on 12 UPVC windows. Quite a few of them were not closing properly and as they were all the same age the customer wisely decided to do them all at once as this was cheaper than doing a few at a time. To stick or not to stick?

Went to a customer recently whose UPVC door wouldn't open when the handles were pulled down. After I opened the door the lock seemed to be working perfectly. The problem was that the door was so low on one side that the shoot bolt at the bottom of the lock was sticking in the keep. After adjusting the door it worked fine.
